The Fix Gateway is a FIX Engine with a simple Application
Programming
Interface (API). It is very easy to use and requires the
programmer
to use only a few methods of a FixClient class. Their are
versions
available for Linux and WIN32 systems. The package includes a sample
fix server program that can read messages from a file written in
a simple scripting language and send them to a designated host; this
makes
testing your application very easy.

For Windows users only, the Fix Class Library is further
encapsulated
as an Active X control.
The standard package
includes a C++
class library API (and an ActiveX control interface). An additional
'add-on'
package provides a C# (.NET) assembly

The FixGateway can be configured to create its Fix
Sessions over Secure
Sockets (SSL), but in order to do that, the FixGateway/SSL
Integration Kit is required
