ContentsJZip is a pure Java GUI(Swing) based Zipping tool. JZip supports traditional ZIP (.zip) format as well as TAR compressd with gzip or bzip2 (.tgz, .tb2). JZip also had a scripting interface to allow you greater control over how files are added to the archive. Dragging and Dropping files is supported but relies on the support within the JDK which, in practice means that draggingand dropping works on Windows platforms but is problamtic on Linux.A fully functional Demo can be downloaded.
